Liquid damage
The largest keyboard deck and the highest-value board we handle. These are priority intake — every hour matters, and the machine must not be powered on.
XDR display damage
The 16.2-inch mini-LED panel is the single most expensive part in our workshop. Accidental damage is the usual cause and the whole assembly is replaced.
Port failures under heavy desk use
These machines live on docks with multiple external displays. MagSafe, Thunderbolt and HDMI ports all wear, and all are individually repairable.
Battery capacity loss under professional workloads
Sustained rendering and compilation cycle the large battery hard. Health below 80%, or swelling that lifts the trackpad, means replacement.
Thermal throttling on long renders
Cooling is strong but dust accumulation still costs sustained performance on multi-hour exports.

Because of its value, this is the model where using a workshop with genuine chip-level capability matters most: a board swap would destroy your data, and a poor repair on a board this dense is not recoverable.
