Liquid damage
The dominant fault on a machine this new — nothing has had time to wear out. Speed of response matters more than anything else, and we handle these as priority intake.
Accidental display damage
Pressure cracks and impact damage. The panel is the costliest part and, on a machine still under two years old, the repair most worth doing properly.
MagSafe 3 and USB-C port damage
Physical port damage from cables yanked sideways, or surge damage through third-party chargers. Both are board-level repairs.
Firmware boot failure after an update
Occasionally an M3 Air fails to boot after a macOS update. A DFU revive with a second Mac usually restores it without data loss — always worth attempting before hardware diagnosis.
Fanless thermal behaviour mistaken for a fault
Like every Air since the M1, there is no fan. Warmth and throttling under sustained load are normal and not a defect.
