Laser separation
The largest phone in the current line-up: three rear cameras, ProMotion display, Action Button and Camera Control. Noticeably bigger in the hand than the 17 Pro.
Display
The largest display in the current range, and the most expensive panel we quote on any phone. At this size a low-grade assembly is impossible to hide — colour uniformity and touch response across a screen this large expose a cheap part immediately.
Back glass
A large rear panel, laser separated, MagSafe array refitted. More surface area means a slower, more controlled separation.
Face ID
Face ID components are paired to the logic board and the display. An aftermarket screen needs the pairing transferred by microsoldering, or Face ID stops working entirely.
Charging
USB-C with faster Pro transfer speeds. Port repairs are verified for data as well as charging before the phone goes back.
Battery
The largest cell in the current range. Genuine wear at this age is unusual, so unexpected drain is investigated rather than assumed.
Cracked 6.9-inch ProMotion panel
The single most expensive component repair we quote. A case that covers the corners costs a tiny fraction of it.
Camera assembly damage
The large protruding camera plateau takes face-down impacts. Frequently the cover glass alone, with the modules intact underneath.
Liquid damage
Rated water resistance degrades with age and with every seal disturbed. Speed of response matters more than the rating on the box.
Diagnosis is free and the price is confirmed in writing before any work starts — we quote the machine in front of us, not a description over the phone.
Repair it — this is the current flagship and every fault we handle on it costs a fraction of buying another one. The genuinely useful advice for this model is preventative rather than reactive: it carries the most expensive screen in the range, and a case with raised corners is the cheapest insurance available.
Face ID is not a parts swap
On every iPhone from the X onward, the Face ID components are paired to your logic board. Anyone offering to restore Face ID by fitting a new module is mistaken — it is board-level work transferring your original parts, or it does not work at all.
