Laser separation
The smaller of the two current Pro models: three rear cameras, Action Button and Camera Control, and a ProMotion display that scrolls visibly more smoothly than the standard 17.
Display
ProMotion OLED with always-on. On the newest Pro models this is where aftermarket panel quality diverges most sharply — many cheaper assemblies do not sustain 120Hz correctly or handle always-on properly, and the difference is obvious in use.
Back glass
Laser-separated rear glass, refitting the MagSafe array. Careful, controlled heat work on a current flagship.
Face ID
Face ID components are paired to the logic board and the display. An aftermarket screen needs the pairing transferred by microsoldering, or Face ID stops working entirely.
Charging
USB-C with the faster transfer speeds the Pro models carry. A marginal port repair shows up as unreliable data transfer, not only as a charging fault, so a port job here has to be verified for both.
Battery
A current phone; genuine battery wear is rare at this age. Unexpected battery drain on a phone this new is usually diagnosed as something else — a background process or a charging-circuit fault.
Cracked ProMotion panel
The most common repair, and the one where the panel grade fitted makes the biggest long-term difference.
Camera module damage from face-down drops
The camera assembly protrudes and takes the impact. Often only the cover glass is broken and the modules underneath are intact.
USB-C port and data transfer faults
Charging normally but failing to transfer files reliably — a pattern specific to the faster Pro ports.
Diagnosis is free and the price is confirmed in writing before any work starts — we quote the machine in front of us, not a description over the phone.
Repair, without hesitation. This is among the newest iPhones in circulation, with almost its entire supported life ahead of it, and there is no fault we handle on it that approaches the cost of replacement. The only sensible caution is who does the work: on a phone this new, a cheap screen or a botched Face ID transfer costs far more to undo than doing it properly the first time.
Face ID is not a parts swap
On every iPhone from the X onward, the Face ID components are paired to your logic board. Anyone offering to restore Face ID by fitting a new module is mistaken — it is board-level work transferring your original parts, or it does not work at all.
